Foam Roller Workshop: Strength & Core Focus

Do you have a foam roller at home? How do you use it? Not really sure what to do with it? Join us for an hour long interactive workshop with Dr. Shana Blackman, Physical Therapist and owner of MyPT located at Tosa Yoga Center!

We will learn:

• the importance of improved mobility, flexibility and stability for longevity

• the health benefits of using a foam roller

• proper use of foam roller for progressing strength and stability

• how to use unstable surfaces to target your core and increase the difficulty of workouts.

No experience necessary!

Participants will need to bring a foam roll that is 6" in diameter, but can be varied lengths. You can also bring smaller foam rolls and we can address adaptations. If you do not own a foam roller, you can purchase one through Dr. Blackman to be provided at the workshop. Email admin@thatsmypt.com to purchase your foam roller by July 10th.

$40/participant
