Seasonal change can feel chaotic. Join Colleen and Megan the day before the Summer Solstice for a Restorative Yoga and Acupressure workshop. Colleen, who has specialized training in Restorative Yoga, will lead you through a slow sequence of longer held supported floor postures, using props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks. After settling into the postures, Megan, who is also a licensed acupuncturist, will guide you through an acupressure protocol.
Acupressure is a needle-free technique to stimulate specific acupuncture points on the body. The acupressure protocol will activate points along the body to support deeper relaxation and grounding to support the seasonal change.
You will learn:
• How to locate and stimulate acupressure points on the body
• The functions of each point you are stimulating and why these points are used for relaxation and grounding
• Basic Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory in relation to summer! ☀️
